Dell laptop touchpad not working windows 7

If I reboot, I can use the keyboard and touchpad to go into setup or use diagnostics, but once I get to the alt-ctl-del screen to login to the domain, no keyboard or touchpad. I was able to clean out the trojan with Malwarebytes, but the touchpad and keyboard no longer work in Windows.

Earlier this week, the user got a trojan. I have a Dell Vostro 3700 laptop running Windows 7.
